GBA Submits Comments on EPD Guidance for Evaluating the Vapor Intrusion Exposure Pathway

On Sept. 9, 2o020, GBA hosted a Zoom discussion to review the EPD’s Vapor Intrusion Guidance Document. Based on input from members, GBA has submitted comments in response to the Land Protection Branch of the EPD request for input from the public and impacted organizations regarding this document. The draft document and additional information can be found on the EPD website under Land Protection Branch Public Announcements or under Land Protection Branch Technical Guidance. This document was drafted by a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) which included GBA members, GBA Board members, EPD representatives and external stakeholders with technical knowledge in the subject. In response to The Land Protection Branch of the EPD’s latest solicitation of input from the public and impacted organizations regarding this Area Averaging Guidance document, the GBA Legislative Affairs Committee hosted a Zoom meeting to review the document with members. The draft document and additional information can be found on the EPD website under Land Protection Branch Public Announcements or under Land Protection Branch Technical Guidance. Following feedback received by GBA members during GBA’s Area Averaging Zoom Meeting, the GBA legislative committee submitted comments to the guidance document.
